Can you guys guide me from your experience at what stage my application is at present?

Those of you who have received gcms are fortunate. Ordered mine since nov 20, no show. Webform sent since Dec 11. No show as well
Is there any sort of acknowledgement though? Previously, you used to get one when you submitted it, and then another one when it has been added to your application.

Could we do our biometrics any where in the world irrespective of the country we r citizens of. Would it have any bearing on the processing on our PR file.
GUs could be for anything from a mundate update in a value on your file, to a major change. It indicates some sort of movement, but not the significance. Hang in there.

FWIW, i called IRCC this morning and my file is still in the same state it was in December. Criminality and Eligibility in progress, Security not started.
Criminality will pass when an officer can physically get into the Ottawa office to update it. So i continue to patiently wait lol

Even to pass eligibility they need to goto office? Usually how many months it will take to get Eligibility stage status. I applied on Sep 19th but Eligibility is not started but Criminality is passed
