My application is in background check since first week of October 2020, no update for last 3 months. I didn't contact IRCC, neither ordered GCMS notes.

I don't know about visa office, since it's very slow, it could be Sydney as you are telling.

I think Sydney's pretty good compared to others. Ottawa has been the slowest of all.

My understanding is that people in Canada are getting COPR as soon as the PR application is approved.

What are the next steps after getting COPR?..Do they ask to submit passport for in Canada applicants?
How much time does it take to get PR card in hand after COPR?
