Sorry most haven't gotten updates after giving Biometrics? So it's normal then? From what I've reading it looks like a lot of people's applications have progressed after giving biometrics.i.e.I'm reading stuff like eligibility, criminal, background passed etc.
I'm just a bit worried because there has been no information, no request for additional documents. I'm getting worried that such a long time without a response means a rejection.
I think you're too anxious. Have patience. Everyone here will get their PRs. Some sooner some later.
Thanks God!

To be honest, I have no idea where my visa office is. But I am from Vietnam.
Did any inland applications got their response for web form queries recently!? How long does it take? It been 3 weeks for me and still no response!
Hi
@legalfalcon Does background check usually mean both security and criminality or just one of them? I called ircc last week and the agent told me that my background check was completed. Now I am not sure if the agent meant both of them or just one of them.

BGC includes Criminality and security. Criminality happens early in the processing based on PCCs and biometrics. Where as security happens later in the process, after eligibility is passed.

Background check (BGC) is a generic term for criminality, security and information sharing. See all the stages

@legalfalcon - Does more travel history delays background check processing time?
If so, is it based on the PCC’s we submitted or based on the passport stamping pages we submitted.
Thank you.
Hi all,

When i called them last week, they said i have passed eligibility, background is under process. I have lived in 3 different countries in the past 10 years and all pcc s have been submitted. Currently residing in Dubai.
What will be the next step?
Is my place of current residence improve my timeline?
Also, should i order gsms notes?

Not necessary. there are many indicators that can trigger a simple record check or a comprehensive screening.
