No i just asked them to transfer my file to a different office because i feel im being discriminated based on my religion , ethnicity and that i do not speak french. I will also forward this to my MP and might consider human rights complain. I finished my test and passed it in Jan 2020 .

For Mandamus 2 years or 2.5+ considering the processing time is 12 months. Also I have provided them with each and every document. So if you believe you have provided them the most detail then go for mandamus.

So, even to go with writ of Mandamus, we need to wait until 2021 Aug at minimum?

Only Aug 2019 applications are not moving. Sep,Oct, Nov 2019 applicants getting online test invite. Very weird!!

The backlog was created because of cpc Sydney closing down . Now they have expanded and are mostly processing applications for family reunifications. If you're single you're application could take longer . According to Cic they are processing march 10 to march 16 2019 applications for citizenship. Regarding tests if your relevant regional office already has your file then you'll get test soon but if it's with cpc Sydney it could take a while. Paper based applications are not moving .

yes and as i mentioned they are prioritizing certain applications

i have seen people from 2020 getting oath ceremonies lol To be honest CIC is a mess . Looks like every office is working differently.
