Do you live in Toronto? I called them today and the lady told me they already mailed me the certificate on 9th... I'm under the impression that local mail usually take only 2 business days. It has been more than a week now.. Start getting worried.

Why should the person worry? There are people in here who got there certificates in 2 weeks time. Furthermore, the officer told me that i would get my certificate in 2 to 4 weeks time.

Hi. Any recent oath invites? I applied on 22 August, 2019 and took a test on 17 February, 2020. Decision was made on the same day but no oath invitation so far. Can you please reply if you received one recently. Thanks.

Yes, quite a few of us have received oath invites including myself.

Did any applicants from Ottawa heard back after their test? I did my test in February and didnt hear back since then...

I did my test at the same time. No updates. ECAS shows “In Progress”

OK understood, but i was of the view that the certificate is coming from NS. Since you got yours i guess u are able to corroborate this or not?

Today we were granted our citizenship. Calgary office. About 40 of us there, mostly families. Took about an hour. Everything very smooth and easy. I am so relieved and happy, and feeling very blessed we got to this point and we will never ever again deal with immigration statuses and renewals.

I want to thank you all for the years of companionship on this journey. You have been supportive, helpful and encouraging and I am wishing you all the best on your Canadian journey. Stay blessed guys!

Hi guys, some updates... just received my citizenship certificate today. Check your mailbox! On the envelop it only says the letter is from IRCC.

I'm in Calgary and my invitation said no timezone either.

yeah it's weird! It would only make sense if it is MST.

Hello Everyone - The wait is over! Successfully completed my Oath ceremony on Sept 21st, 2020 and I can proudly call myself a Canadian Citizen. Was a very smooth process. I flew from Seattle to Vancouver on Sept 20th as it is a mandatory requirement to be in Canada while taking the virtual Oath. We had 27 participants from Calgary and we had the Oath ceremony completed in an hour! Flew back the same day to Seattle and I'm waiting for my citizenship certificate to be delivered. Thank you everyone for assisting me throughout the process.

I just received an email regarding Invitation to Virtual Ceremony. Within the email they are asking me to confirm within 5 days via a link they provided whether I would accept the invitation for virtual ceremony. I am guessing after receiving confirmation, they will provide the time and date of the ceremony.

The other adult and minor have not received any email like mine. Should we wait to get all our ‘invites’ or should I go ahead and confirm mine ahead of them?
