It's a shame to see this thread is still growing because people still haven't got PPR, COPR, PR card, etc...why they don't complete August first, before move on to September, October...
The same situation here. Have you checked your online account? My status is still submitted. My landing was March 4.
No need to hold that fund anymore. You are already a PR, and this is not going to affect your PR card whatsoever as that is not even a requirement for PR card.
Hi, I did my landing on 10 March at the winnipeg/US border; the visa officer said the card will arrive in 4-5 weeks. Now I am not sure if they are going to send it or do I have apply for the PR card?
Did you land in Emerson? If so, we landed at the same port of entry. No need to apply for the card, just have to wait as they are not working normally.
My landing experience in Emerson was not very pleasant, but thank god I made it
I think it is not possible for us to receive our cards within the official timeframe. I don't even know if their PR card processing center is still operating at this moment.
I think so too, it might take up few extra few weeks. I went there early in the morning and the whole process took around an hour; but yeah there is a huge difference between the officers of both sides.
Of course the internal mechanism is not like that...they simply don't have a logic mechanism. Sorry I was just too hopeless, too frustrated, too angry.
I can't quite believe I'm still waiting on stuff, after I received my Alberta notification of interest in May last year I naively thought it would all be done by Christmas but here we are 11 months later waiting on the PR card and my refund for restoration of status.
I received my passport and COPR that morning, and I drove there earlier afternoon. My experience was that the US side officers were much nicer and more friendly than CBSA officers. The CBSA officer who stopped my car at the border crossing had an emotionless face and abruptly asked me why I droved there to land. The second officer who received me in their lobby was very unfriendly and repeatedly asked me why I didn't choose to land in IRCC's Winnipeg downtown office. I said I didn't want to wait for another 2-3 weeks and just wanted to get this done right away. The officer who later processed my landing was a polite and nice officer
Wow, you are describing exactly my landing process!! I believe CBSA doesn't like to process inland flagpole as they understand this is a IRCC duty that is being passed on to them.
Yeah, luckly I got it few days before everything closed and also managed to change my SIN number. I hope you get yours soon as it has been a while now.
Although the agents were polite (but not exactly friendly), I was glad to have flagpoled. If I had scheduled an interview at IRCC, I would certainly have been put on hold by now.
I think your PR card was never sent out from the processing center. The center may have been closed before they were about to send it to you. My status is still submitted 5 weeks after landing.
pls I need assistance here, my AOR was August 2019. Jus today I went through my submitted forms and realized that I missed stating that I was denied U.K. visa before but I mentioned the one of USA. Pls how do I update this to avoid misinterpretation. Has anyone been in this kind of situation before? Pls I need urgently assistance. Thank you.
