Test Interview date: March 7th

(Expecting oath in 4 to six weeks)

Just came back from the test and interview. I passed the test (20/20) and the interview went well. The agent said I should receive the oath invitation between 2 and 3 months.

We are almost there.

I've done and passed my citizenship test Feb19, but my file still missing the security clearance.They told me that my police clearance has passed, but my security clearance is not ready yet!. Any clue How much does it take to have it? I couldn't find any useful info on security clearance time frame for citizenship. Thanks

Any clue How much does it take to have it? I couldn't find any useful info on security clearance time frame for citizenship. Thanks

This depends on where you are originally from and/or if you have done a lot traveling. People from countries with conflicts will take months to complete their security clearance. I know few people from one country had to wait between 5-6 months after they wrote the test.

Plus GCMS are always kept blank in security section so no one has any idea what it is made up of or when were they initiated or completed. Few had to apply for ATIP directly with CSIS to find out where they r with ur file
