I have a concern, I noticed that based on the statistics of the applicants it seems that the application process is doing good. im just waiting for my test and hopefully my oath taking. I am leaving the country feb 6 to march 6. so most likely i will miss the part where in I maybe doing the test. and Let say they ask me to do the test this january, Can i request to have it expedited? I know that once I move to the next part of the procee )oath) they will take my Philippine passport and I wont be able to get out of the country.

Hi,
nobody is going to take your Philippine or any other passport. The only thing the CIC takes at the end of the citizenship process is your PR card.

Hi everybody, today I went to check my ecas and I noticed a new line was added:

"We sent you correspondence on December 24, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required"

I checked my email and still couldn't find anything ? is this the same request for finger prints? do they send a request to your mailing address or email?

I received the fingerprints request by email

Hi all,

My office wants to send me on a training in the US in between March 4-8, 2019. My application is currently in process since November 27, 2016. Is this a good reason to request for an expedited processing so that i can write my test and do my oath before March. If yes, what do I need to get from my office and how do I go about requesting for an expedited processing.

Same thing happened to my ecas. A line was added saying " We sent you correspondence on December 18,2018......."

I checked my mailbox yesterday and you're correct. It is FP request.
