Hi all, my application was delivered August 23rd, but have not gotten AOR.
Today I phoned IRCC call centre, and the lady said they are processing applications received around that date, but there was nothing on my file. She sent a request to Sydney to look into it.
During the call, I also found out inadvertently that they had my old address on file. Now I am slightly worried that my application may have been returned to the old address. Unfortunately I have no way of checking mail at the old address.
Hence my question: Does anyone know if IRCC return citizenship application to the address specified on the application form, or to the address on file?
I was going to post here saying that I am starting to get worried that my application was received on August 30 and until now no AOR. It used to take 1 month for the AOR, and now I am reading that some are taking them a bit more than 90 days. Do you think that the overall timeline of 12 months to get citizenship is not realistic anymore? I am a bit worried about the AOR. Do they return applications early or later usually?
Hi, I am still waiting for AOR. Application was received on 22 August.
Just realized one thing that my passport which I submitted with the application was expired in Oct. Will I get my application returned or will they request for new passport after AOR is received?
Do you guys suggest me to send my new passport to the same address where we sent our application with a cover letter? or wait for AOR or application returned?
Try to check ECAS. If it shows information about your application, then good. If it tells you that you cant be verified using the information provided, then your application is not yet live in ECAS.
My application was returned for missing a sin digit and I filled it as YES as I am resubmitting. You have to send your returned application as well with explanation letter.
