Hi there,

quick question, i am an august applicant. They have received it august 3 and i have been in process since november 2. After that nothing, I'm so worried its taking so long. Do they send the test invite via email or snail mail?

I'm on the same boat. I guess you just have to be a bit more patient. They do say it takes 12 months for completion, so the application is still within the deadline.

• Passport
• PR card
• Driver's license
• CoPR
• IELTS score card
• Fees receipt

What else is required?

Can you please clarify what kind of fees receipt? Is it the $630 citizenship fee?

Why is Montreal office dead? Decision made in early Feb and still waiting for Oath invitation. Got travel arrangements coming up - there is no movement at their end not so ever!

Finally, the long journey has come to an end. Today I took my oath for Citizenship and also got a Citizenship certificate. Thanks, everyone for your help. On my oath letter, it said to wait 3 business days but everywhere else on the website it says 2 business days. I need the passport urgently as I have a trip planned on May 22nd. Can I apply on Wednesday next week after 2 business days?

On my oath letter, it said to wait 3 business days but everywhere else on the website it says 2 business days. I need the passport urgently as I have a trip planned on May 22nd. Congratulations, good to hear that you have finally made it to the end of the process. You could apply once you see “complete” on ECAS.

On Friday 26th, I took the oath of citizenship with my family. It was a humbling but most grateful moments. Thank you for everyone on this forum, you have been super helpful. I have not only used resources and discussion here to help myself but to help others not on this forum who are seeking for answers.
