hello guys,
My AOR is february 6th, 2019 and my status is:
Eligibility: met
Criminality: passed
Security: not yet started
case processed in CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia
Il have declared only travel history of the past 10 years. I have been in the USA in 2006 for 2 months but didn't mention it. my husband have been in Syria for tourism in 2005, not mentioned too.
does this make a risk on my case? could I be under security screening and delays for months?
exactly, I have been told in this forum that only past 10 years are requested no need to report it.
Is there any risk on that? will they ask me for ADR for travel history?

Nope, mine was due to ignorance, i thought i was exempted from providing proof of funds because I reside in Canada so the officer gave me 30 days to provide pof stating I am not exempted in May

Mine is not yet approved, but passed everything according to CIC agent (got a ghost update) three weeks ago. The agent said application is still in progress. No update after that. AOR August 7, VO-CIO Sydney.
I have been reading and obsessing over this thread for what seems to have been all my life now. Finally joined.

The famous "IP-2" since 09 May 2019 "We are Processing your background check, etc, etc"
I actually wondered if anything at all would ever happen, having not received any info from CIC till May. It was only since then that I have once again entered "this may happen any time" mode again, which is the worst!!!
Have been dealing through an Immigration specialist, so don't have access to my account. Get updates from them regularly, which are basically more of the same that was before.....
I often wonder what is going on. I have made five calls to CIC. Each time I have been told that everything is fine. Eligibility - Passed, Criminality - Cleared, Medical - Cleared. Am told that the file is "being finalized". That is often followed by a sheepish "I'm sure it will happen soon" submission by the lady at the other end of the line (There's always a lady)
My request for GCMS notes was submitted on 13 Jun 2019. Yet to get the result
In anticipation of what is to be, I ordered CBSA notes on 20 Jun 2019.
This roller-coaster is really taking it's toll, but I thought sharing may help - not just me, but others too.
Had a quick query - Anyone here have any idea how long it takes for them to decide that you're a legit vet and not a bonafide war criminal on the run? I have a sneaky suspicion that they are wondering what I was up-to whilst in the Navy. I have submitted eight documents including service certificates and details of my postings. I was a Helicopter Pilot and the closest I came in dealing death was to save people from it......
Waiting.... waiting... waiting..... As is everyone else I know and I do know that patience is wearing thin.....
Hoping this gets resolved soon. Here to share my pain, and, hopefully - happiness to come.
