Bro, this decision is most likely the approval of the case officer with regards to eligibility. Let's just pray our security n criminality check is cleared by then too.

Tbh, I mostly ignore such silly claims of how calling agents or raising CSE's or ordering GCMS notes triggered PPRs, but it's becoming cumbersome explaining to people who do all of the above after reading some 'testimony' somewhere and still do not get their PPR that the claims are just not true.
And instead of this 'uncle' to just enjoy his PPR and his good luck., he decided to come lecture me.

Some folks just don't understand how things really work bro. Been thru the same shit too

I’m AOR 17th of August. In 26th of November I’ve requested GCMS. Prior to it’s extraction I’ve submitted a CSE with updated POF. As the exchange rate changed by 26%.
I’ve received the GCMS notes in 26th of December with eligibility and criminality passed, and Security is empty with 7 activities. Due date was 20th of December.

Since then nothing changed and I was in IP2 since forever.

I think sometimes that the delay could be because the updated PoF that I’ve sent. Could it be ?

No.
Your eligibilty is passed, your POF has nothing to do with the delays.
Try to find out (from this forum) if the empty security activites means you're in security screening.

No one knows for sure. You can't refute claims if you don't have the evidence to show otherwise. You can infer/assume like we all do but please don't sound like you know it all and whatever anyone else says is false. Except you want to tell us you're working for CIC now and have got all the inside information.

Hey hope u doing well!! Congrats on ur ppr and I wish the utmost success n joy for u from the bottom of my heart.

With regards to the above comment, we absolutely refute this claim as we know this is utterly false n purely coincidental. If u seek evidence, pls do call up the client service center and listen carefully to the instructions, notices and information., Ircc keeps repeating over and over, while u are kept on 40 mins wait for an agent.

FYI, folks like ' Tobs ' travels the extra mile to pacify stranded ones by educating, n spreading awareness. It takes time, patience, resources, good heart, hours of research and effort to dig deep so that relevant info n guidance can be rendered freely. If one can't be polite, don't be rude towards these good Samaritans offering info on the platter.

Hey dear, has ur eligibility been assessed by a case officer yet or is it marked met or recommended passed by an analyst alone? If the case officer has given his verdict positively then as soon as security check is done u will get ur ppr. If not, u will need to hang in there for some more time.
None of us or no one other than the agency can predict when they will initiate security check n it's duration dear.

The good news is that once your security starts and an officer looks at your file, you'll get your PPR. But no one knows how long it will take as there are many people in the same situation 8 months post AOR.

My job contract is till 28 feb 2019.
Whether they will inquire about my job contract too during security check?

No. Security check is about security.
Job related stuff is checked during eligibilty

Besides an expired contract or job loss/ change of job has no impact on the PR process after you submitted your application (AOR = lock in date)

It means the analyst has marked eligibility as met. A case officer is yet to tend into ur file and mark eligibiity as passed. Eligibility met is a good progress as well!! All the best bro!

Job related stuff is checked during eligibilty
