i Honestly think its just the traffic.

Its too busy with the number of applicants applying everyday.

Its Ottawa. I am looking at my time line. I will send you guys. The time line.
My AOR was Aug 7
Aug 24 got request for biometrics
Bacground check started on Oct 12( actually i saw it on that day). Then no updates.
Feb 2 they asked my wife and kids re-medical.
Today morning got my PPR.

Funny thing my eligibility still says as under review.
Hopefully they will update it today atleast.

Just for your peace of mind, the status on the portal will change only after the COPR is issued, which is after you submit the passports etc.
So there is still time for you to see the update on the portal Don't worry about it

Is there a way of knowing if Eligibility was met without GCMS notes? My AOR is Aug 3rd. Last conversation I had with the agent they told me Eligibility can only be complete once criminality and security are done. All they told me was that my criminality is going on and security has not started. Really want to know what stage im in and if my eligibility has been met.

If Eligibility says'appears met'', why would the agent say Eligibility is still being reviewed?

Because an officer has to review and confirm to pass your eligibility.

true, and i think they need to give explanation why they have time and staff to do security for later months oct, nov or even dec rather than start our aug's security
