I've got a request from cic to fill up additional family information form (IMM 5406E). On the form it clearly mentions that I have to fill the names in English and the native language.
My question is, is it okay if i type the names in english and below that i write the names in my native language (hindi) using a pen? Somehow i am unable to type our names in hindi since it's a pdf and acrobat reader does not support hindi as a language.
Two things you need to have. First is Adobe acrobat professional or DC. You can download for free or trial. Second is hindi font, click on this link http://www.easynepalityping.com/resource/font/devnagari_new.zip or copy paste it in ur browser. It will download a zip. copy paste the contents in ur C/ windows/ fonts folder.
In acrobat, go to tools and then select add text. make the text box. then go to content editing panel on side. select the font devnagari new. You can type in hindi now.
You can use this site, if you dont know how to type in hindi. http://www.easyhindityping.com/ it will convert whatever you type in english to hindi. see the text example.

Don't worry. I filled and sent it last week. What i did is typed the whole form in english. Then left a column of space under each name. Later after printing the document I wrote names in native language by pen.
Do you guys know what's the procedure to analyze all the documents? I mean, I heard there were analysts and then senior analysts which would take into consideration the first analysis done... I've heard so many things which seem like urban legend at this point...
My eligibility is "review required" due to a NOC change at the moment of AOR. The agency taking care of my application sent a letter explaining the change in the NOC at the moment we submitted all the documents (AOR August 20th) but that didn't stop them to put my eligibility status in "review". I really hope that this review is nothing more than a simple thing in which they see the NOC change, see my employment letter and proceed with it, so no additional documents required, nothing major... According to my GCMS notes, security was recomended pass already and info sharing was complete (background?). At 23 days from the 6 months deadline, what do you guys think? Are there any cases that you know, like this?
10 days from 6 month deadline. Still IP1. Security Criminality also not started as per GCMS notes. Eligibility Review Required. Recently got confirmation of CSI documents.
Can anyone tell me by what month I should expect PPR?

It doesnt say anything...its says “please note that your visa will be issued by the visa section at cairo Not by CPP-O. And then there is a note to the officer: please attach the appropriate instructuons letter (i.e.,PHEP Letter).
I guess i have to print the email and go to the VFS in cairo with my passport and they will tell me what to do.
