I think because of the timezone differences some people will get updates on Saturday mornings during the wee hours of 2am because they may have been sent out at 6pm or 7pm EST. I highly doubt government agencies work over the weekends
For those that went through the biometrics... did your profile update to reflect that the biometrics were received? Or did it go straight from "biometrics needed" to RPRF?
I'm a bit worried because I submitted my biometrics 2 weeks ago but it still says "we have not received your fingerprints"
A newbie question to the veterans. I have applied to PR from CEC stream with a Lawyer. I do not wish to bother the lawyer constantly but since he linked my account to his account, I do not see any updates on my profile. Is there any other way for me to check the status of my application other than contacting the lawyer?
The only link i have used is this one (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=null) i basically type in either my Bridging Open Work Permit application number or my express entry number with my last name, date of birth and nationality but i do not get any results here.
Thanks in advance for all the info and help.

Just an update: I didn't receive an email notification. Just happened to randomly check and noticed that there was an update on my profile and it is in the "IP-2" status as of today. Which is exactly a month after IP-1.
Timeline:
AOR: Aug 31
MEP and IP1 - Sep 24
IP2 - Oct 24
I think so...It's been almost 70 days. One month cross after turned my application to IP1, then nothing changes. Even, they did not ask for RPRf payment. Passing very tense day and night

Same here I don’t have direct access to my account so sometimes when I just want to check the status I call +1 6139444000 ( as I am Outland) and for Inland use this1-888-242-2100.
Only to check the status you can use IVR option, you don’t need to talk to the agent.
It will take 3-5 minutes to get through the options and to listen your current status.
You will need your application number and year of birth to learn the status information.
Don't you guys think 2018 is slow?
I am going through April and May AOR forums and they are getting PPRs. June and July are still few cases. Which means its taking 5 to 6 months in 2018. 2017 was 4 months on an average.
