guys anyone know what happens from here?

From last two weeks, my application has been showing as if IP1 has been started but there medical has not been updated. My medical was upfront.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi all,

AOR 3 Aug here and still no MEP, no biometrics letter (34 days). Anyone in the same boat? I'm starting to worry... Is it because of the clinic? What can I do?

Yes, I am in the same situation. AOR is 1 August but still no medical update. It was upfront medical so was updated by the doctor on 6 July. I am getting the following status for the background check. Think it is IP1.
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

AOR-20th August 2018
Then no update at all, no medical pass or else. Almost 16 days past, what's happening don't know. Guys do you know is this normal or else??
We did upfront medical just before the application submitted. Eagerly waiting for the medical passed.

I've just received update email 1 hour ago and voila, MEP and bio letter.
My background check is: "We are processing" almost right from the start.

Medical pass is usually first step, and this takes at least 20 days. Just wait.

If you are those who need biometrics then MEP (receiving together with biometrics letter) means you also pass R10 check.

Hi,
You guys don't read through the forum before posting your questions , right ? This question has been answered so many times in this forum. It is taking around 20 days for the first update i.e Medical results . So you still have lot of time. Once you will pass medicals , what after that ? You will eagerly wait for the next update There is no end to this eagerness. You need to practice channeling your eagerness because it will be at test for next few months , given that IRCC cannot give you PPR overnight. We all are eager btw

Well , I would suggest you replace 'usually' with 'lately' because many in this forum had said that the time was 14-16 days a couple of months ago

Have we not paid?

I'm asking about the biometrics. I didn't pay for biometrics when I paid for my application, there was no option of that then.
