The same happened with me last week, but I never received an email. Didn't get one when I cleared medicals on Sep 1 either.
Still haven't received the email. Can't say anything to generalise the process. Anyway, hoping we all receive our golden emails soon!
I have submitted my application through an agent so he provides me with the update. So is there any way out where i , myself can log into the CIC account and check the status of my application. Please can anybody help me ??
You can call the CIC and it will read you what your agent basically sees on your profile. You can call and learn about the current stage any time of the day without talking to an agent
Again a ghost update in profile after IP2 ... Don't know what CIC is upto

Yes, it seems updates are done in bulk.. Following comment of mine has no backing but just a random suspicion.
The ip2 updates could be an output of the website maintenance which was scheduled yesteday.
could be true.....because i too moved to IP2 today
Hi Guys. I have a question. When the golden email comes, is there a timeline by when you need to give in your passports? Why I ask - Me and my wife have a trip planned at the end of December for which we require our passports. Let's say the golden email comes by 10th December. Can I return from my trip and then submit my passport?

fingers crossed for you

Yes. Just raise a request via email and / or webform.

From what I understand, once you get the email you Will havet 30 days to submit your passport.
I got this shared to me in a group. Don't know if it was shared here before. But people need to stop abusing Ralph.

Thank you. Also what is the TAT for the CoPR after PPR? I'm sure that varies from country to country.

Thank you. This helps

Well this was shared in a different group and there were some questions with respect to authenticity of this.
Authenticity aside, the response time from Ralph's office has definitely gone up. Earlier people were reporting a response within 1/2 days but now I know people reporting waiting for response for 5/6+ days. Sad part is these are the people with AOR in March / April and probably need / deserve a response much faster.
But in the end people are free to do what they think is best for their peace of mind or application. If people think they should still use it ... good. If you can wait a little bit more so that someone from much earlier AOR continues to get this benefit ... great.
But anyhow this seems unsustainable in the long run. So whether this particular screenshot is authentic or not but the situation depicted in this one could become a reality sooner than later.

If this is true then this is very sad... people are really stupid abusing this MP's help. I have read in other forum that people who crossed 6 months wait tried to contact Ralph but not answer since he might be overloaded with emails. I know it is hard to wait for all of us but we should not exaggerate

Varies from country to country and VO to VO. Could be 2 weeks to 4 weeks on average.
