I got a ghost update on 13 Nov too and nothing so far!

A lot of people from August AOR got IP2 followed by a ghost update a week after IP2 and are just waiting now like us

Waiting in IP1 seemed easier than this. The ghost update especially was just so misleading!

True. I was very very lax till i saw the update now my entire search history is on the lines of-"what is the gap between ghost update and ppr","what is a ghost update".

Hello everyone,

In order to validate my IMM5669 form I had to split a personal history step into two parts since the form was mentioning a gap that simply wasn’t there and I just couldn’t validate it, I was specifically required to mention the period from 2009/03 to 2009/06 anyway this how I did it:

2006/09 ----- 2009/03 (Activity A/Study school A)
2009/03 ----- 2009/06 (Activity A/Study school A)
2008/06 ----- 2009/03 (Activity B / Employment)

Is it fine the way I did, or I should raise a CSE to explain it further?

You dont need to split the same studies into 2 parts. Infact its incorrect.
When did your final year of studies actually end?

It ended in 2009/06, but the damn form just wont allow that no matter how I tried, so instead of being out of time I just throw it as it was.

Then PPR on 09/Nov/2018.. so yeah

So, when I logged into my CIC online application, on the summary page the status said,"Read/Updated". When I checked the application there was no changes to it, no updates whatsoever. I then went back to the summary page, it now said "Submitted". I never received any email as well.

I understand that is a ghost update- in that, there was an update made in the back end that I cannot see. It indicates that a case officer has made a change. Now, the speculation that this ghost update is followed by PPR/ no is just that- a speculation.

Are u claiming points for ur employment from 2008 to 2009? Is it full time employment and is the education done during this time full time? If both of them are full time, then i think it is contradicting, however if one of them are part time, its k..

For the period of education, u just need to mention the start year and month ( first year of education) and the final year n month (passing out year and month). No need to give yearly breakup wise..

If u r including the period of ur work exp which is coinciding with ur educational period then u can include it at the end but remember include an LOE.

Well my studies were part time from 2006/09 to 2009/06, 3 years for a Two years diploma which I got in my ECA, as for my work experience I don't claim any points and I simply placed it in personal history, my main concern is that the damn form kept telling me that there was a mistake in my form and my deadline of submission was for the 15/11/18 so I went ahead and split the the education period in two periods so the form can be accepted.
I don't know if I should keep this as it is or go ahead and raise a CSE which might delay further my application, any suggestions ?
