To convert any images to pdf you can use MS word document and then save as pdf

Also there is a compress option in MS Word.

Citizens of only a few countries are supposed to give biometrics now. You can check if you need to provide biometrics here

Also, personally, I guess biometrics request will be either right before PPR or with it.

I need to give biometrics. It says: "The letter will go to your account message box within 24 hours of applying" but it has been way more than 24 hours and nothing yet.

Oh! You might wanna drop them an email via the link which says 'call centre' in the text message you recieve in the mycic account right before AOR.
