No updates at this time. CIC advises they're processing applications as of 12th Aug. So i should keep waiting for a week and look out for any emails including those in spam folder just in case.
There is mechanism in CIC to send AOR to confirm receipt of application.
However, there is no mechanism for CIC to confirm if they indeed rec'd our file and if it is being returned.
So, in effect, the waiting game continues.
CIC must really streamline this section of their application processing procedure. Its like a blackout region where no one knows what is happening.

I spoke with CIC yesterday and the agent suggested to re-send the application if I dont receive AOR by 15 September with the same payment receipt.
I think, it is good suggestion as there are some cases where CIC lost the applications with no trace.

Yeah, I read some of the discussions on this forum where applicants didnt receive AOR for 6-8 months and when they raised written request to CIC on it, CIC were not able to track the application though applicants had signature confirmation that someone received it.

Hopefully not but incase they return someone's package there would be a stamp on the first page of original delivered date which will help any application if sent twice by signing the form on returned package. That is what I was told by CIC call centre.
In my case I waited my incomplete package for 25 days. Then I sent the same package including missing documents and signed the form sent by CIC.
I am not an expert that is my experience.
Hopefully all goes well you receive your AOR today. Best of luck.
