Attestation of US marriage certificate

Hi,

My marriage registration was in the US. When I try to add my wife's name to my passport, I am asked for attestation by the US Consulate. But US Consulate does not do attestation of marriage certificate. What are my options? I should have got my marriage registered in India, but I didn't.

You're trying to add you wife's name to your Canadian passport?? Spouses aren't listed in Canadian passports.
