ATIP Notes

Today i received my second set of ATIP notes.

I had applied on 16-jan-2014 and processing started on 11-mar-2014 and received RQ on 26-may-2014 and send back on 06-june-2014.

First atip report ordered on 9-june-2014 , my CASE STATUS was OPEN and RQ received.

Today i received the second ATIP report which i ordered on 23-jul-2104

Below are the updates

1)my CASE STATUS now "ON Hold" Updated on 18-jul-2014
2)RQ attached to file and sent to st Clair for review
3)Profiles File:1 :=>Status: In Transit , Responsible office :St Clair CIC ,Priority-2 Meduim ,Retntion period:6, Location :Orange tag Shelf 19jun2014 Updated on 18-jul-2014



What does status "ON Hold" and Location :Orange tag Shelf 19jun2014 Means?

Please advice

your case is now non routine and have to wait when the officer review your
rq than decision will made.. St.Clair have significant backlog....

My wife ATIP file status is "ON Hold-Security"

What does this mean

1. On Hold - prevents test being scheduled. Security reference is that CSIS background check pending.

2. Orange tag shelf - an internal filing mechanism. Don't sweat this it could just be as well red, blue etc.

can I order case file and hard copy scanned at the same time?

If I order hard copy, how do they process it? will they ask someone in the local office to take out my file and scan it? then put my file back to the shelf?
