Asked my language proficiency, but I haven't taken IELTS yet, what should I say?

Hi all,
In schedule 3, it asks my English proficiency (high, moderate...) but I haven't taken IELTS yet, so what should I say here?

I believe so.
As I know, CIC doesn't require to have IELTS before sending the initial application, does they? So I don't want to wait until I take IELTS to send my application.
I haven't taken IELTS but I'm going to take it soon, any suggestion what I should type in the form?

say you did not take ielts and claim 16 points.
Send a letter stating why you think so
then take exam and send the proof at a later date to local cic office (after you get aor number from sydney)

Take the IELTS first. That way, you know exactly how many points you will get.

Otherwise you risk that you overestimate your English, you think you have 67 points but then find out when you have to provide your documents that you can't get as many points on IELTS as you thought and then your application is gone. Better to be safe, take IELTS first, make sure you have 67 points, then apply.

if you are applying under the fedrall skilled worker class you are not required according to the new rules to send your english proficiency document to the Centralized Intake Office in Canada.

later you will be asked to send all of your documents to the spesifice visa office that is responsible on the application of your country of nationalty or country of residence

however the immigration department recommands appllicants to take the IELTS test before submiting their intial application just to make sure how many scores do they have in the english proficiency.

I can prove my English proficiency without IELTS but I don't know how many points they're gonna give me, so definitely I'll take it. However, I want to send my initial application before taking it since it saves time.
Btw, I don't need a high IELTS score to get 67 points.

Ok, then guess at your English level on the initial application and award yourself some points. Once you take the IELTS, your level may not be exactly the same as you awarded yourself and you may not get exactly the same points but as long as you still have 67, you are ok.
