Asked for Medical Exam again!

Hi,

I sent my wife's sponsorship application to Mississauga at the end of this February through my lawyer. Then within a month they notified me that I am approved as a sponsor and they sent the application to Singapore (As the sponsorship application are sent to Singapore for Bangladeshi applicants). And on eCas it showed that

We received ****'s application for permanent residence on March 21, 2014.

Now today they again asked for the medical again. I submitted the medical report but it seems that that medical clinic that she went is not anymore on the approved list anymore, it was on the list couple of months ago. Is this a positive sign that they started working on the application? Or it will take still a long time? Can anyone tell me the duration still it might take I could expect right now for the whole application to be done.

Typically, criminal and medical clearances are the last things that they need before rendering a decision.
