I was wondering if the "8 month study in Saskatchewan + 6 months job in any category in Sask. = PR" rule still exists

I applied for my study permit extension on July 27th, 2015 and my classes start this September in Regina, SK. My room mate who has never visited any other province keeps telling me about how bad the "SK" province is from public transport to the 'myth' of PR over there

I refrain from arguing with that nut, but still it makes me a bit nervous

Anyone care to share a few words please?

Please check their website ...you will get all answer for your questions.

Anyway which university or college are you going for ?

The rules are still on, just that you have to get a job related to your field of study
