Are finger prints required for IMM 5669 Schedule A?

Hey everyone,


My wife is stating that her friend who also applied inland sent in fingerprints with her IMM 5669 Schedule A document. Is this required? Is is normal for CIC to request this in the future? I don't see where its showing that finger prints are required and just want to make sure we can send just the IMM 5669 schedule A document and not get finger prints done.

Some Outland (country-specific instructions) may have asked for fingerprints, but never heard of this for Inland applicants.
I know that CIC recently changed the application packages, but to my knowledge fingerprints are not to be included with an Inland application.

Perhaps the friend can cite the source, for her including her prints.

That's not a normal request, no. Check your country specific guide to see if it applies.

Your friend may have been asked for an RCMP check at the same time, which would need fingerprints, but most people don't need that.
