ARC ?? What are the steps? what are the forms?? US citizen

Hi there,

I was refused entry into Canada earlier this month. They said that I was supposed to be deported, but they didn't know where I was so they served me the deportation then and there.

I applied about 10 years ago to come to Canada from the US. I am a US citizen. But it was too expensive to stay in Canada so I went back to US and didn't come back until just now.

They asked me to apply for an ARC. I have no idea what that is any ideas what to do?
