Hi, I am planning to apply for visa in May Insha Allah.... did you guys apply online or through paper based application?

my husband (studey permit) and i (open work permit) got our visa on April 25, 2013

Applied: March 15, 2013
Recieved by Isb embassy: March 18,2013
Medical email recd: April 9, 2013
Medical done: April 10, 2013
Visa issued: April 25, 2013.

I think our visas got processed in record time considering that we are pakistani

1) Did you apply through CHC Islamabad from Pakistan?
2) Which Uni did your husband get in and which session?
3) How did you receive the medical call, was it via email or phone, how do they do it?

i filed my application on 18th of april, for September2013 intake through gerry"s Islamabad.
after how long visa officer requests for medical , does he contact us via mail, email or phone .. please brother

I heard that sumiting online is the best and VO pay more attention to it, process it fast than paper base app. How sure is this???? Anyone wit experience??? Thanks huz!

Hi,
Applying online or paper based is the same and there is no preferential treatment to either way of submission. If ur more comfortable with the online process you can do that, but keep in mind you still have to do all your document submission through regular pos/ Gerrys/ Fedex.
