Well yet another update to my hysband application, now everything is complete, but prohibition. Oh well I guess we are another unlucky one.

Hi there,

I called IRCC today (since my last update on file is still on 05/30) and the agent I spoke to told me he will send a reminder to my processing office as my application exceeded 6 months. I hope I will have hear back from them soon.

Did you get the fingerprint request?

I was told when I called IRCC that they forgot to send my fingerprint request ( no update on my account/no email).

I was also told that agent would remind my office to resend it again a month ago, but nothing received yet.

I think some of us somehow not getting anything from IRCC, need to do something.

I did not, but as my background Check is already completed, I do not think the fingerprint request would apply to my situation.

After six months of zero updates, there was finally some progress on my application today.

My timeline so far:
April 1, 2024 filed
April 8, 2024 AOR
June 12, 2024 Background verification completed
June 13, 2024 Citizenship test in progress
June 21, 2024 Citizenship test scheduled
July 1, 2024 Citizenship test taken
July 5, 2024 Citizenship test completed
Jan 7, 2025 LPP completed

Vancouver office

Still waiting to be scheduled for the citizenship oath.

I lost my hope about my application.
Somehow I missed my fingerprint request letter, found it in my spam mailbox after 4 months.
I called/sent emails to IRCC many times to resend my request letter, nothing happend yet.
Even my MP’s office reached to them out, but no update since July, last update was test passed.
I hope someone will remember my file one day in the future!!!

It was so weird that there was no update on my application, I therefore missed it because it also went to my spam folder.
If there would be any update on my application, I would not have missed it!!!

I requested ATIP for my application, there was a note about fingerprint request letter says “ fingerprint letter email sent via Bulk Email Letter Application BELA),
When I saw the word “Bulk”, then I needed to check my spam folder!!!

we have applied a family citizenship application.Parents, citizenship application all turned green.Minor kids only prohibited, got green remaining in progress.How long it takes to get green for minors kids please reply.

Have any of you had experience with having a request with your Passport Pages and Travel Documents requested, with all pages and stamps? What has occurred for you after this fact? I have cleared everything except for prohibitions and physical presence. Thanks!

It's for verification of physical presence days. Once you submit the needed copies the will verify and if satisfactory mark it as completed.
