May I ask when did you take your fingerprinting? Did you send it to Vancouver or Sydney office? Thank you.

I did fingerprinting on June 29 and sent it to the Vancouver office, but have not gotten any update yet. I am starting to get worried.

same as you, i fingerprinted on the 29th and sent it to vancouver. i didn't get this update on my tracker until a few days later. my fingerprinting agency suggested that if i didn't hear anything within four weeks i contact the rcmp directly

He did not have a chance to study and has only 2 days left to write the exam and wanna give it a chance

There is a one month window in which you can try 3 times. Is 2 days left of that window?

My oath was scheduled for 19 July. And I wasn't in country. I got it rescheduled to 12 Aug without any issues. Many people frequenting this forum spread unnecessary fear

no one is spreading fear. they are simply stating that it MIGHT take a while to be rescheduled from weeks to months which is a fact since people have posted their own personal experience with rescheduling just like you have. it may be a shorter and easier task for some and the opposite for others. and it works both ways. you saying "oh it wasnt an issue for me" then someone else who hasn't heard back from ircc or been has waiting while, they will start to develop fear and wonder if what is going on with their reschedule request or what is causing the delay...
