You mean, I should apply 2023 taxes first and then submit the citizenship application ?
Not exactly saying that. Just asking why not (file it) since it is tax season now and even if you file your taxes today, you'll get your Notice of Assessment within 2 weeks. It's not like this will significantly delay your citizenship application. Also just noticed that you are following another thread on this same topic. So you can follow guidance from there too if you feel that's accurate and works for you.

Before applying, my wife's name was showing in my portal. My wife tried to submit it first but it showed "parent application should submit first". So I submitted mine and then her application. After a few minutes, I got an email like "Declined invitation - Someone declined your invitation to join your citizenship application.".
Q1. Does that mean the application was submitted individually?
Q2. If yes. Is there any impact on the application?

Thanks. I submitted my application with the answer No,Yes, as my 2023 taxes might take couple of week more. I have already completed three years taxes 2020, 21 and 22. so I think this would suffice. Yes, following the whatsapp group as well. thanks for the advise.
