Wow, your BG has been in progress for quite some time. Any reason for this? Do your GCMS/CBSA notes mention the reason? Did you select "yes" on any of the statutory questions in your application?

Not sure why BG checks take so many months for applicants who don't have much in their Background.

There is no detail in GCMS/CBSA notes. and I selected "No" for all those statutory questions.

CBSA note only has status updated time saying 2023/05/30. Is this start time or my security check has no started yet?

In the page "application security activities' the security status was shown as "not started' for me until October.

My status is "in progress", I also have info sharing check in progress, CBSA shows latest status is NRT. Do you know what that mean?

NRT = NRT means No Record Trace.

NRT usually means it is good you are not found in any criminal date bases etc...I have a feeling CSIS / CBSA have given the file back to IRCC, you have been unlucky like me and assigned to some AH officer who is lazy and hasn't picked the file yet.

Update - got email and letter asking to send Passport to Ottawa CPC address in 30 days with two photos.

Entire time line as follows:

AOR - May 15th, 2023
Medical and UCI linked July
August - Eligibility went to review required.
September - got GCMS to find out reason and address the issue.
Jan 4th - Security Passed.
Jan 9th RFV letter to send passport and photos to CPC-Ottawa.

I am in USA to will need visa stamped.

Does your tracker show CoPR expiry date? Also check if your GCkey shows a date in the Final Decision section.
From what I've noticed, either this week or by next week you should receive PPR.

no CoPR in tracker yet and no final decision in my GCKey account yet; though all steps are complete

Congratulations. Could you share how you got to know that your eligibility went review required? In the app tracker? Also how did you address the issue?

I got to know that from GCMS Notes and reason case analyst mentioned. I just sent letter of explanation addressing the issue.
