This is a follow-up to my post from a couple of days ago:

My online tracker was updated today morning with a request for an interview. The interview is scheduled for June 8. I don't have the official email yet, so not sure if the interview is in person or online.

Did anyone here receive an interview invite? If so, which office? How long did the interview last? Can you share your experience? I'm keen on knowing what questions they ask and what are things I should be prepared with.

Finally received an email ! Oath is scheduled on zoom, 25th May.
Does anyone know, Is there a way to get citizenship certificate in person or e-certificate ? I've business trip schedule and can not wait for 2 weeks to get certificate.

Well, there is no way to get Citizenship Certificate in person for Online oaths. The oath for the in-person ceremony is different where you get a certificate on the spot. Also, Oaths for e-certificate are different from where you can download the certificate.
You can, however, request urgent processing of your certificate at the time of Oath and hope that they mail the certificate on the same day.

I suggest you email SCR ceremony office ,ircc.dnscrcitizenshipceremony-ceremoniecitoyennetescrrn.ircc@cic.gc.ca <ircc.dnscrcitizenshipceremony-ceremoniecitoyennetescrrn.ircc@cic.gc.ca>; attached proof of travel conformation and hope they change to in person ceremony with a earlier date ,i did this and got tru.

Just received NOTICE TO APPEAR oath email from Scarborough Office.

Oath date: May 25 at 11am EDT via zoom.

Yes that's good, I just sent my flight confirmation .

I don't know yet if the interview is online or in person. Once I receive the official email, that's when I'll know for sure.

there must be multiple organizations working on your security checks, hang tight it will move eventually once they submit reports (usually doesn't take that long unless there is a red flag or someone that holds similar name and has a criminal record) and it might be only the officer who is handling your file being lazy as in all other workplaces!
