Did anyone request for in-person interview after receiving Video oath ? Will that change the date? I want to do this as I need the certificate immediately so that I can request for emergency passport.

It definitely will change the date and you don’t know when it will be scheduled for depending on the in person ceremony schedule for the office processing or in charge of oath for your application. Your alternate option is to request the officer for urgent certificate during the virtual oath - many have reported that the certificates were sent out same day or next or see if perhaps you could collect it in person from the office location next day if that is feasible.

Something weird happened with me. My tracker said my ceremony is scheduled for June 6th, 2023. However I just received invitation email stating the ceremony is scheduled on May 13th (Saturday). Which one is the actual one I should look at?

you should call and ask or send email back from where you received the invite from.
They dont do ceremonies over the weekends.

Sometimes the invites received have errors. My first invite was missing all zoom details and I replied back and they fixed it and sent it again.

Usually the email has the accurate date, but won't hurt if you call and ask

The same thing happened to me. I called IRCC and the agent told me that May 13 is the correct date.

Just received an update for my spouse. The tracker has been updated today to show the oath ceremony date as June 07th. Not yet received the official email.

How long after your tracker was updated you got the email instructions? Are they doing ceremonies on weekends? I heard they never used to.

Not sure what is the rationale of us being stuck in hands of a lazy officer!!! A friend called this morning, applied march 2023 and he is done with BG and test passed yesterday!!!? What a fucking joke is this IRCC!?!? They told me some officers just collect pay cheque and rarely open their laptops while working from home!!?!? Like can we ask our files to be handled by another officer??? Like I am loosing sleep !!!
