Hey guys, just checked my online tracker and noticed that BG is completed on Oct 20, 2022.
After this i got my first GU (after Oct 8) on Oct 21, 2022.
Applied online in March 2022.
AOR is April 19, 2022.

Can anyone please advise how long would it take to get the test invitation?

Soon. Maybe within a few weeks. Start to prepare for the tests and check your account and email frequently so you don't miss the test window

So, i got AOR for my citizenship application yesterday. i had submitted online application on 24th Sep this year.
The funny thing is, when i am trying to register/create an account with my UCI and application number (C*********) to check the status, its throwing the below error.

Incorrect or invalid information. Review and make sure it matches the information submitted on the Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] form or the Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual [IMM 5475] form. If you can’t create an account, it may be because your client’s application is not in our system yet.

Fact is i didnt even fill this IMM5476 form while submitting my online application. Has anybody faced this before or has a clue? CIC customer care is not reachable, as usual.

I have this exact problem. I got the email on Oct 18 and still, I'm not able to register. Today, I got another email to create an account but it's not letting me. Did you figure out how to fix it?

I tried with and without hyphen (-) in the UCI but none worked.

When I check the status it shows everything is inprogress but nothing is completed yet. Is there anyway to contat cic citizenship office? Also, we have new born this month and not sure if I have to inform CIC about new born baby.

Was the baby born inside Canada or outside?

Obviously, if the baby is born here she's already a Canadian citizen and there might not be any impact to your application.

But if the baby is born outside Canada, I'm curious as well to see if you'll need to amend the application.

Thanks a lot. Office was Mississauga I think based on the email address I got the test invite from. Haven’t received the letter yet to confirm if the ceremony is virtual or in person. Just saw the update on the tracker. They also updated my son’s application and scheduled him for the oath ceremony too. I remember I said I don’t want him to attend when I filled his application out. He’s only 4.

I applied online on 2 April 2022 and received my AOR on 12 April and today when I checked my tracker and there is a ghost update today 26 October so is anyone else see a ghost update today??
