Hello April Applicants,

After filling out my citizenship application form, I have been trying to validate the form but keep getting this error -

The format you entered in the following field is incorrect:
14. Date issued
The correct format is: Must be greater than or equal to 1900 and a valid calendar date.

I used the small downward arrow beside the field to select the date in the required format, so I'm certain the format is correct. Has anyone else encountered it or know why this could be happening? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure the year is correct? If your passport was issued June 15, 2018, you could be putting in June 15, 2022 using the drop down, and that could be causing the error exception.

I think the same way because I applied online on 2 April but fingers crossed

Are you sure the year is correct? If your passport was issued June 15, 2018, you could be putting in June 15, 2022 using the drop down, and that could be causing the error exception.

I have checked more than 20times. And it's the same error message I get when I try to validate my wife's application. It's so frustrating. This is the only thing holding me from sending my package. Any help please.

Have people been receiving AORs fairly quickly now? I was looking at the spreadsheets from last year to get an idea and it seems like it takes at least a couple of months to get AOR..?
