Think it is normal. If you see the tracker for this year, there are those who've gotten a test invite after submitting FPs while there are others who have gotten it almost at the same time.

The basis for sending FP requests is usually random - checking your criminal record, making sure you are different from someone else already in their system, etc.

Thanks @zagcollins ! I did speak to an agent on November 2nd, 2022 and he mentioned that my Security was passed but not criminality. I guess we will never understand IRCCs system of doing things. Hope we all get through this quick and easy.

How did you submit fingerprints so fast. I was told that it takes at-least couple of weeks for IRCC to receive the fingerprints submitted. As RCMP takes a week to verify and the mailing time is a week.

I think he/she meant submitted as in he/she has submitted it. Not that it has reached/been processed by IRCC. That usually takes 30-45 days.

Nice. I thought they would send the test invites only after the fingerprint results reach them. I have submitted my fingerprints today. Not sure if they would send me a test invite today though.

It's unrelated...they both don't go hand in hand at all.

I have same timeline . GU. 1 nov . Background check completed on the 3rd nov . An other GU on the 3rd nov . But after that nothing else

I have the same situation. Background check completed on the 2nd nov. Nothing since then. No test invite.

Do you think it is normal?

Still waiting for email. DM October 29th. I did call them and they just told me to wait, but they also confirmed that the decision was to grant citizenship, so it's just a formality now :)

We have exactly same timeline. Aor 26.
First GU on 1 nov . And 3rd was a second GU background check was completed. No test invitation yet.
