Hey All,


Quick question: I just came to know we have to pay two fees 1. Open work permit and 2. Work permit fees. I forgot to pay work permit fees $155. I have received temporary AOR last month as I am a Nov 1, 2021 applicant .

How can I pay the second fees before my file get returned. any suggestion ??.

I am thinking to raise a GCMS notes and attach the new fees . will that help ?

Pay the remainder of the fees and submit a copy of the receipt via web form. Be very clear in the web form what and why you are submitting this information for their consideration. I suggest doing it as soon as possible.

Have you tried to call Ircc regarding portal or not??

Does anyone know why my portal still says: "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" even though I already received my AIP months ago? It also says 'we have not received your fingerprints" under the details but it clearly shows my biometric information as received at the top of the page? Weird.

Sorry, I'm a bit slow, is ECAS "Electronic Application Status"?
Yes my sponsor was approved and the status on the Pr still says 'in process"

You can call to IRCC and confirm with them about biometrics..or you can send in webform

Just confirm with IRCC first maybe thats why you are not getting your decision.. I applied in July and already got decision .

Well, actually I think it was further complicated because they asked me for another medical check. That delayed things by about two months. So I only just passed the medical exam as of Jan 20th and it was requested for the very first time in October. I already received Approval in Principle Letter, Pre-Arrival Letter, Confirmation of Biometrics etc in Oct/Nov

Decision made for PA: Nov 27, 2021
AIP: Nov 27, 2021
Decision Made for Principal Applicant: Nov 26, 2021
Pre email invitation/confirmation Portal via PA email: Nov 27, 2021 Responded to IRCC same day

Hello Tobi, congrat in your PR, please I wanna know for how long did you meet your spouse or how long were you married before you submitted your app, did they ever asked for additional document. I met my wife in 2019 November , got engaged in the summer of 2020, we got married after one year November 2020. One year after knowing each other and had a baby, submitted app 2021 September. We had a lot of proof tho but still scared.
