I sent my application on April 12 and it got delivered on April 15, 2021.
We got our AOR on July 22, 2021, but I noticed that the online tracker shows the application filed date as June 2 .
Do we know what this date represents because the AOR date was 22 July? Why the dates are different?

Online tracker says -

We have received your application and have begun to process your application. Information about next steps and required action items will be coming soon

Probably that is the date when your file was created in the new dashboard.

You need to wait for an overnight.

No, this is just my personal observation, I think the process starts with an agent reviewing the documentation (all documents in checklist included), if something is missing the file will be returned to the applicant, if complete, it appears that with the new dashboard they create a file (I hope is scanning the documents and uploading to their system, so it is easier to transfer from one office or agent to the other). after that it goes to someone else to produce and send the AOR, therefore AOR is the official date when they acknowledge receipt of your package, after this your file will go into another pile (or agent) to start the Background check, after a couple of months it will be transferred to your local office and finalize Background check, if fingerprints are required they will send an email with information, next step will be sending your file to another group (agent) that is responsible to schedule the tests.

I re-sent the application after return on April 18 and just received AOR on July 26. Please add me to tracker (original application was on February).
