When you guys say that you got an oath letter, did you actually get a letter in the email?
I'm asking because I have my ceremony scheduled to March 5th, but if hadn't checked the tracker I wouldn't know about it, I haven't received any emails from them for a very long time

You will get the email likely close to March. We got it a week before the ceremony.

Me too! I'm single applicant and paper based application, sent my application in April 2021, AOR July 2021.. and since then no response. I asked for my gcms notes early Jan 2022.. no response. What do you guys suggest ??

This is ridiculous process. Atleast there should be some kind of communication or traction on the application.
Not sure if the notes would really help, they might just state what you actually see on the tracker but you never know. Please keep us posted on the GCMS response.
Honestly there is nothing we can do besides waiting unfortunately.
What’s your local immigration office? Mine is Edmonton.

How do I know which immigration office? I applied from Toronto.

So they asked you to take the citizenship test ?

everything is completed except for Citizenship ceremony since beginning of Jan. Haven't heard back ever since, I'm starting to get worried
on the website it says "The ceremony will usually take place within 3 months after your test" i took the test end of october

Happy News here! 12th April 2021 applicant here. Everything changed to completed in the new tracker today (except Oath Ceremony). Old tracker shows Decision Made. Hopefully Oath in a month or two. Detailed timeline in my signature! Thanks!

Applied April 1, 2021. AOR July 13, 2021. Background check completed on Aug 30/31. Got test invitation on the tracker Feb 15, 2022. From Winnipeg.

Unfortunately the only backlog which increased is the Citizenship application backlog . Everything else regarding immigration backlog has decreased.

GCMS notes it's taking three months now. Their is increase demand for it due to the backlog in all immigration categories
