Just called IRCC and the procedure is different that they started processing the background and others haven't started even medical and Bio info. Can anyone advice what's going on? @legalfalcon

The BGC status changes a few times during the processing of the application. Initially it changes when criminality is in progress (early in the process), and then later for security.

BGC = Criminality + Security.

Yep. Seems that PNP cases are experiencing serious backlog and we can do nothing about it but wait.

My AOR is 1st April 2021, CEC Inland

• The eligibility is currently valid.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

Also, they told me that my case processing centre is Ottawa

Can anyone please tell me that valid means passed or they are still verifying?
