Yesterday I went into the arcc website to check the process of my husband’s application, and it says 92% complete, supposedly is going to be complete in a month. I will keep you all posted!


He already got medical request in January 2021, so we are just waiting to hear back from them

Sorry to tell you but the 92% you are seeing means nothing. It is just a percentage of the 1 year average processing time. Don't base anything about the progress of your app on it, you will just be disappointed.

Hi Everyone, our file received there 12th of april 2020. Medical and Biometric done in Dec. since Then we haven’t received any news. We were wondering are any other people in same the same boat? Please guide me .

After 2 months since the transfer to Ottawa, I also contacted my husband's MP to ask for help. Week after that my ecas status changed to app received then back to in process few days after but didn't have the line 2 on my PA tab.

Hi, same here my biometrics and medical done in Dec but since then no news. Should I contact my local MP or wait ?

Couple of weeks to a couple of months, nobody can give you an accurate time.

Hello all, we received our COPR email today. My husband is officially a permanent resident! We now have to send a photo to a Montreal office to get the PR card made, but otherwise, it's done!

HI friends.

We finally have some good news after 10 months of radio silence. (we have no AOR yet... or any indication that they have our application until this past thursday)

This past thursday an agent called to clarify something on our application. Today we received a request for biometrics. (technically no AOR, but still happy!)

Question for the group. Has anyone had an issue with the "booking an appointment" feature for biometrics? I keep clicking the link and i'm getting an error?

Application Received: April 29, 2020.
Biometrics Requested: March 15, 2021

Oh believe me... we called. Also got our MP involved. Finally it seems like we are moving forward.

Received AOR, Sent Biometrics, and Sponsor Approval. Now medical should be next, fingers crossed it’ll be soon.

Try using the application number, while making sure to include both yourself, and the sponsor, and any dependents if applicable when answering the question how many people are included in the application.

Application Number
Family Name - (applicants last name, not sponsor, even though I was linking it to the sponsors account)
Passport of Applicant
Number of people on application - 2 (applicant and sponsor)... not the most intuitive that’s for sure...
