Do you know one of my firend's file was lost by IRCC. any thing could happen

AND I felt like adding here in the past we read an incident on this site. An application was STAMPED with WRONG date by the staff. Sounds like that stamping machine was set at a wrong PAST date! Other words that guy in ircc stamped the Date of Receipt with a PAST DATE , now sponsor's had signed the forms with right dates. Officer who quickly looked at the file sent the whole file back to sponsor; blaming him that dates are signed with FUTURE dates. And are ahead of official Stamped date! I am sure we can do a search here of this fact . It is so much upsetting for sponsor we can imagine! Mistake was done at the receiving desk by the staff . And who suffered? Sponsor who tried to prove the truth by phoning how he could produce a RECEIPT of fees with a future date?? but was too late then. He was thrown back few months at the END OF big lineup. So things like this can happen; then many more mistakes are likely

Hi everyone, I just wanted to confirm how many weeks someone has to wait for medical request whenever your file has been transferred to another visa office?

P.S: visa office is Accra

Same here, we got biometrics request December 3rd and SA stating Accra visa office...nothing since then... no medical request yet. When did you get biometric request or moved to Accra?

Good news if anyone cares. My spouse's TRV has just been approved today. I'll advise you all give it a try instead of waiting for the long Sponsorship. Our application took 2 months and 2 weeks. So many people discouraged us as they said it will definitely be denied since we have a pending spousal sponsorship. Against all odds, we went ahead anyways as we had nothing to lose. We don't even have AOR1 yet, but she will be joining me next month. I could never have imagined. It still feels like a dream.

Awww congratulations!!! My husband applied for his since early December and we have literally heard nothing about it. Did get the AOR last week though. I am happy for you... that is soooo exciting!!!
