I hope so ... i called today but they said they just open mt envelope, there is no other info. They telling me same info from 2 weeks . I don’t understand that

I am 6th april i called today. From past 2 weeks they are telling me same thing that they got my an envelope and opened it but they didnt check my application. And they said i gonna take more then 2-3 weeks to verify after they will let me know

I find this to be untrue. You should call again and try speaking with another agent. Keep a note of the agent's name you spoke with. Are you able to view your application on ECAS?

Given members are stressed out, might as well show through numbers that lots of progress being made in October 2020. At this rate, more applications will be processed in October than in February ( pre-covid ). Please do update tracker and keep your fingers crossed. Good luck everyone!

I called 3-4 times answer is same. They said to wait indirectly she was saying not to call and wait for response. She said i cant go through my application on ECAS bcoz application is not in process. Agent is checking my application still

I posted this on the other group as well (https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...tland-spousal-sponsorship.680339/post-8936118) but honestly I think this guy has the AOR and the temp application number mixed up. And he is calling the XF number as his AOR.

hi i call today for file information and they gave me temporary file number again, and also told me ur file is in first stage of processing, they did not give me any other information. anyone know what is the meaning of first stage of possessing? my file received on 7 th april.

The first stage of processing is the Completeness check i.e R10. They will verify if they have all the required documents as per the document checklist.

Just received a biometrics request! But no AOR yet. The only issue is that my wife has already done biometrics a couple of years ago (under her maiden name), I guess they did not make the connection. How to notify them of this, I have no clue yet. Will let you guys know, maybe it will be useful for someone.

Oh! you should call IRCC and raise a web form. Please keep updating the tracker as well. What date was your application received?
