Be careful when referencing the OWP application review/approval times on the website; I read that those are not for spousal OWPs, they're for OWPs in other classes.

I would take the website processing time with a grain of salt. They listed 89 days for work permits inside Canada. So that pretty much covers open and closed work permits.

It falls under the same catwgory any open permit falls under the same category thats how you pay your fee id you remember selecting open work permit so itsnthe same and their days have come down to 89 for paper applications where as it was 139 before 28th april

You should also note that OWP (inland-for spousal sponsorship) is issued after SA. Hence the processing time will differ from the other open work applications

Mate it was replied to a question not the processing time. They were taking 4 to 5 months before which is approximately 139 days which was being mentioned if you check the processing times and now the same time has come down to 89 days if you might have checked the processing time differences earlier and now which they recently updated on 28th april on their website and thats why so many applicant from february and january have recieved their AOR in one day just day before yesterday Cheers
Hello everyone! I’m joining this thread I hope you all are staying safe, healthy, and maybe even a little entertained during all that is crazy in the world right now....
We applied for PR on April 27th and it was received on the 29th (UPS delivered it not AOR, although that would have been magical!)
Like you all, we are waiting for AOR. Here’s to wishful thinking that once everything opens up again, they will speed through our applications at least to send our AORs.
cheers
Well right now they have been sending AOR for people who applied after mid january and february and it took them near about 90 days and a little more. But we can hope for an early update. I am march 27 applicant though
