I just got reply of my webform which is as following.

Your application currently meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,
you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
The security background verification is currently valid.
The criminal background verification is currently in process.
Your application is currently being processed at the Case Processing Centre (CPC-O) in Ottawa, Ontario.


What does it mean by “currenty meets eligibility “ ?? Can please anybody help me out here??

It means that your eligibility is passed, notice that your security was completed and is valid , and we know that the security stage start only after eligibility is passed and valid, you are all good this is good news.

It means that your eligibility has been marked passed by an assistant or analyst and awaiting an officer's review.

Raised Webform on 19th July, as for the status, got a reply that Security is Valid and Criminal In Process
Called IRCC, asked them about eligibility, was conveyed that eligibility is passed! The decision was made on 13th July 2020.

So, was this eligibility decision given by the visa officer or case analyst?

Also, does this mean COPR is positive once I am done with Biometrics?

I ordered GCMS notes on 28th July 2020 just to have clarity.

Requesting GCMS notes is not mandatory. You can just wait it out too. If you are in Canada, you can request your own GCMS notes.

Hi , is there anyone who can advise me please. I received provisional nomination on the base of job offer in the end of February. I also received work support letter but by the time i was about to apply for work permit, New Zealand and canada government declared lockdown in the countries . So i did not apply for work permit but i submitted my residency application in April. I am in dilemma if should apply for work permit or not? As there are borders restrictions in canada as well? . My work support letter will expire in the end of August. My medical has been passed and i have submitted my biometric for my residency application. Please advise

Will your consultant find out that you've raised webform? I'm in the same situation
