Sure thank you. Any idea when will the status get updated on portal for eligibility section. And what does background checks are in progress mean?

It wont reflect in ur portol until the final decision is being made. And for background check, it is a standard statement for criminality check, security and info sharing with other canadian authorities. So basically after MEP/ BIL, there will be no updates. everything will be updated after final approval is made. The only way we can check is webforms as u did it or GCMS notes.

About 3 to 4 months post AOR will give you the most insight from these notes.

How long did it take u for eligibility passed after Medicals?

Sure!! I requested my notes around 2nd week of July and received it this week.

R10 Okay by program assistant was 10 June
Eligibility recommended pass by case analyst was 13 July.

Applied for gcms notes on 13 july waiting for reply.
Does Eligibility recommend passed means only major step left is background check . Just trying to get any idea as my AOR is closed to yours.

I think, eligibility still needs to be reviewed by an officer whether passed or not. From what I’ve been reading on this forum, once eligibility and criminality are marked as passed, that’s when the security check (Last step) still happen.

Please update if you do the biometrics in US. Also thinking the same if they don't open till September.

I am waiting for the US-Canada borders to open for non essential travel. If I try to give biometrics in US right now I think entering back in Canada might be a problem.

On June 23rd had a ghost update in my profile. Logged into my account, saw “Application updated” and But Nothing changed in profile. and then when I logged in again Main page shows Application stage submitted.

I have raised a webform yesterday to check status of eligibility. Can anybody share how much time usually it takes to get answer of webform???

On June 23rd had a ghost update in my profile. Logged into my account, saw “Application updated” and But Nothing changed in profile. and then when I logged in again Main page shows Application stage submitted.

I have raised a webform yesterday to check status of eligibility. Can anybody share how much time usually it takes to get answer of webform???

Did you submit any additional document? I’ve heard that sometimes additional documents added to your file can trigger a Ghost Update too.

No I didn't submitted anything after submission of application. I raised a webform to check eligibility status after i got ghost update.
Only thing, I am bit worried that webform shouldn't be affected to application in anyway..
