It's ready for visa email day me ! I'm posting this because this thread served as a source of hope for me and the good news did help to boost my faith while i was waiting. I was asked for an ADR in September and after that it was pure silence till 03/Jan/2020. I had emailed the IRCC in November and they said it was on queue to be reviewed, i heard nothing and again filled a web form on 2nd Jan and the PR happened on the 4th.

NEED URGENT ADVICE - withdraw passport from high commission
Hi everyone, we got ready for visa email / PPR golden mail on 17 Dec & submitted passports on 18 Dec to VFS New Delhi. They've been in processing at Canada Visa Office, New Delhi since 19 Dec. My husband (dependent) has to travel for work on 8 Jan. We've emailed the high commission last week to request for passports (as per vfs suggestion) but got automated reply, and are anxious now.
Can anyone share the process to get a passport released from the Canadian High Commission in Delhi? Or the relevant phone extension number in the High Commission?
If someone has had similar experience / advice - please share.

MEP/BIL – 6 June
Biometrics complete – 8 June

Hope they consider the same.
Now again waiting for any movement in my application.
Also ordered GCMS notes last month but no response so far for the same.
Hey my medicals expired on the 17th of Dec. For me it says that “you do not need a medical exam”. I just wanted to know did urs do the same before it being extended for a year.
If so could you please tell me how many days did it take for the profile to get updated from “you do not need medical” to getting extended for a year.
Your reply will be really appreciated. Thank you in advance.

My status "Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam on May 16th" had been unchanged until today, which still remained for 9 months. I do not have "you do not need a medical exam" before it is extended today.
This latest update came after I received the Procedural Fairness to submit additional information/documents.
Yesterday, my BOWP was approved and got the latest update on my application today. Apparently my file is being looked at after it hasn't been touched for a long time.

Thats a good sign. Atleast it’s getting looked at. The wait has been so long for most of us that it sometimes makes us wonder what could be so wrong in our file that it’s taking forever.
Atleast good for you that no medical required. Hopefully you get some good news in the upcoming days. All the best.

Thank you. I wish you the same.
From my situation and observations here, it could be wrong or problematic in our applications if they take more time/longer to be processed or verified. If any application is over more than 6 months without any update, additional information/documents could be requested to provide to verify or allay the immigration officers's concerns. That's why our applications have been in process so longggggg.
Hi everyone, so what's the matter with medicals? I got medicals request today for the next 30 days knowing that my medicals are valid for a year so expiring in March.
