I got mail in my gmail account today for Landing interview at Vancouver IRCC office with some documents like passport, proof of payment, old visa, family's passport size photos

Has any one experienced such interview and what to expect in interview. Please note I have not got anything in my CIC account but gmail account. CIC account is same.

Congratulations buddy, this means you are going to get pr at your interview. This is very fast process because you don't have to send passport any where just go to interview and they will dispatch your pr card on interview day. When is your interview? A lot of inland candidates are receiving landing interviews instead of passport requests. I wish you good luck and have fun at interview. This is the movement you been waiting. So, enjoy it. You are good to go.

My family is not in Canada but at home country I live alone here in Canada. My dependents never visited Canada. I wonder how these IRCC people will manage with their passport.......maybe in Canadian embassy in my country

They also asked me to bring my family members PP size photos .....which I do not have

It's easy, just ask your family to go to nearby photo studio and they can take a PP size photo digital. They should be able to send it to you via email. You can have those photos printed here at London drug, Walmart or Costco.

Score CRS 475
Ielts band 8
Workex 5 years
NOC banking
No international travel history
Medical cleared 6 june
Biometrics completed 8 june

Had it been 2016 the above case would have got PR in less than 3 months.

Back now, the portal drags every week with no bloody update at all and proudly says 11 more weeks remain and that too uses the word estimate time.

I mean what is this. Y the process is not moving at all.
