My LVO is Kiev, Ukraine, and a timeline is:
1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 23, 2018.
2. We started processing your application on July 27, 2018.
3. We sent you medical instructions on September 25, 2018.
4. Medical results have been received.
Now waiting for further instructions.

I thought this was just a reflection of the latest system update. Are you certain this mean they started background check? I have the same message "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you." but nothing has changed with background check line. It still says we will send you a message when we start your background check... I don't want to get my hopes up. Thanks to anyone who can provide clarification.

I agree with you, although it is noted "we are processed your application" it also still says in progress for me too. That has not changed. This is why I was confused. It seems like it can stay in "processing your application" for months and hear nothing. It's very frustrating, but we have no choice but to wait.

Yeah, i got pre arrival letter last week.
Do you know how long it take for Passport request after Pre arrival Letter

After PA u'll get Dm n it tke near by max 10 days to get DM. So after DM u have to wait near by week or 10 days for PPR. This is the processing time at Ndvo now a days for jan, feb,march, april month applicants. I hope u'll get Dm this week after then wait for PPR.
